Over The Rainbow Market
Put several hundred LGBTQ+ dancers in a convention centre and what are they going to want to do? Dance of course. But when they’re not dancing, they want to shop! The Over The Rainbow Market will also be open to the general public.
The annual convention usually includes vendors and ours will be no different. This is your chance to sell your products to a captive market of affluent visitors to Ottawa.
We offer 8’x8′ booths that will be partitioned with pipe and drape walls and includes 1- standard rectangle table and 2 chairs. You’re welcome to bring any additional staging you require.
The opening and closing ceremonies, along with the banquet dinner will all take place in the Provinces & Confederation great hall and most of the dancing will take place in the same space, though with separator walls to partition the hall into four large rooms.
The Governor General Ballroom will also be partitioned and will host various levels of dancing throughout the weekend. Dancers will move from hall to hall in between dances as they attend their favourite dance levels and callers. So there will be a more or less continuous stream of people flowing past your booth throughout the weekend.
Consult the image below for an idea of where booths and traffic will be and to plan your participation in our great event. Limited locked nightly storage will be available on a first booth reserved basis.
